We’re going to make that trip happen.

Answer five questions and we’ll create three trip ideas.

Your modern travel advisor

You love to travel. You love to plan travel too, except it’s not quite happening alongside everything else you’re juggling.

We’re going to make that trip happen. Share as much or as little as you know about where you want to go, where you want to stay and what you’d like to experience. We’ll come back with three ideas within 2-4 business days, and we’ll collaborate to dial it in. There’s no obligation on your end, and if we can’t develop something amazing after our third round, we’ll close it out on ours.

Get started by taking our five question ‘Inspire Me’ survey and we’ll create three initial trip ideas, complete with pricing.

Here are some of our favorite destinations for the late fall / early winter.

Late Fall / Early Winter Favorites

Newport, RI

Newport, RI is the place to explore over-the-top mansions from America’s Gilded Age. Starting in late November, those mansions are decked out in holiday lights and Christmas Trees. See why Newport is called the ‘shining gem in the coastal crown of New England’ by walking along the Cliff Walk, a 3.5 mile walk along the sea. Follow @discovernewport and @newportbuzz on Instagram for more inspiration, or ask us to inspire you with a Newport trip proposal.

Big Sky, MT

We love Colorado skiing, but Big Sky is pretty amazing. With wide open spaces, consistent snowfall and new luxury hotel options, Big Sky should be on your skiing bucket list. Also, surprisingly, Big Sky is the ‘best-served mountain destination’ in the country, with over 30 nonstop flights. Be sure to carve out at least a day to visit the northern part of Yellowstone National Park while you’re out in Montana. The solitude and winter splendor make for a completely different experience from the summer. If you’d like to experience Big Sky this winter, ask us to develop a Big Sky proposal.

Napa

So wineries are always in season, but there are special events happening in Napa Valley in the late Fall and early winter. The famous Napa 2 Sonoma Half Marathon and Rose 5k is a bucket list run and has shifted from July to December 11-12 this year. Napa Valley Restaurant Week is more like a month – running from Jan 11 – Feb 14, 2022. The event encompasses five different towns in the area, with dining options ranging from taco trucks to Michelin rated cuisine. This entire region is full of quaint villages, world class restaurants and of course some of the most famous wineries in the country. Ask us for a Napa Valley trip proposal for late fall, winter or anytime.

Washington, DC

Spend hours exploring the rich museums and historical sites of Washington, DC without the summer crowds and humidity. Most museums are now open five days a week, with a handful offering timed entry passes. We’ve seen the National Museum of African American History & Culture sell out soon after the 30 day advance tickets post, so early planning is recommended. The DC cools down into the 50s in late fall, cool enough to enjoy scenic bike trails in one of the most bike friendly cities in the country. Holiday lovers can watch the Christmas Tree Lighting at the White House on December 2, 2021. Follow @washingtonianmag and @katieurban_ on Instagram for local flavor. If interested, ask us to develop a DC trip proposal.

Austin, TX

Austin is our hometown and has exploded into the scene in recent years. Come on down this winter and see for yourself what’s driving all the love and attention. We’re known for live music – and ‘Free Week,’ tentatively scheduled for Jan. 6 – Jan. 9 2022, features over 100 performances over four days. For runners, there are two big events: the 3M Half Marathon on Jan. 23, 2022 and the Austin Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k on Feb. 20, 2022. Visit anytime and walk or bike Lady Bird Lake Trail, sample the breakfast tacos, and experience the vibrant nightlife. Ask us for an Austin trip proposal.
