BodyHoliday St Lucia Wellness Travel Advisor
BodyHoliday St Lucia is best suited to travelers who want wellness built into an active Caribbean vacation, rather than a clinical program or a quiet retreat centred entirely around the spa.
The resort often combines one included 50-minute spa treatment on every full day (excluding arrival and departure days) with fitness classes, sailing, tennis, golf, water sports, six restaurants, and a fully included open bar. You can build a full schedule or spend most of the week at the beach. Nothing is mandatory.
That flexibility is the appeal, but it also makes choosing the right room, stay length, travel period, and activity plan more important than it initially appears.
Rosedale Travel books BodyHoliday as a Virtuoso member agency. Our role is to help you decide whether BodyHoliday fits what you want from the trip, then make sure you book the right version of the experience.

I recently had the experience of my daughter’s high school graduation trip to Croatia planned by Rachel Baumgartner. It was amazing!! We had another family along with us and Rachel took so much time learning what was important to us, researching extensively the best fit for us regarding hotels, transfers, restaurants, excursions and more! The entire trip was seamless!! And during the trip she checked in on us and was quick to respond with any questions we had. I highly recommend Rachel and Rosedale Travel!!!Posted on Google![]()

Laura Spagnolo recently (fall 2025) planned an absolutely unforgettable group trip to Argentina. I travel frequently and this is the first trip I did not have to do or think about a single piece of the itinerary. I took my 12 yr old son, along with a few other families, on a planned group trip to Buenos Aires and iguazu falls. Starting with the preparation for the visit and Everything from city excursions, to soccer matches and stadium tours, to art centers, dinners out, fantastic hotels, experiencing the falls, and the ease with transfers and domestic flights ...it could NOT have been better. I will not plan trips without Rosedale travel from now on!! Thank you!Posted on Google![]()

Rosedale travel was able to hook me up with a last minute excellent trip to Iceland. Kirsten worked with me to make sure everything we wanted to do got done, and even suggested some things I’d never heard of which I'm glad we did! I’ll be using Rosedale travel again in the near future!Posted on Google![]()

Five stars aren't enough for Rachel! She delivered the most amazing and stress-free adventure for our son's 30th birthday trip to Moab! She helped with flights and booked a fantastic place to stay, but the lineup of incredible adventures she put together was the highlight. Our adventure loving son had a blast! Before we left, a physical folder with all our documents was delivered, and every detail was also available on a convenient app. Rachel was available for all our questions during planning and checked in with us during and after our trip! I will be using her services again and recommending her to everyone I know.Posted on Google![]()

Not only is Rachel Baumgartner the best travel advisor I've ever had the pleasure of working with, but she is also one of the best individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From start to finish, there is not a single thing she missed. She went above and beyond on everything possible and exceeded my expectations. She helped me plan my bachelorette, my fiance's bachelor party, and our honeymoon. I cannot recommend Rachel enough to anyone looking to plan travel. I am forever grateful to her for helping me to plan the trip of my dreams!Posted on Google![]()

Kirsten at Rosedale planned our family trip to Greece. It was our first time using a travel agent but definitely won't be our last! Kirsten made the trip to easy and stress free! She listened to all our "wants" and built the perfect vacation for our family of 5. The excursions she booked were amazing - both were great companies to explore Greece with and we learned so much from our guides. The hotels and resorts she booked for us were beautiful properites and the extra perks (like welcome baskets and food vouchers) that we got from booking with Kirsten were a wonderful bonus! Don't hesitate to use Kirsten to design your next vacation - you will be so glad you did!Posted on Google![]()

Kirstin was amazing! My sister and I had 17 tabs open trying to figure out connecting flights and/or trains in Europe to no avail! I reached out to her for the first time hoping that she could somehow solve this mystery and she did just that! She made it all work seamlessly. Going forward, I will never NOT travel without first consulting her. She had tips, ideas, suggestions, and solutions! She was easy to communicate with, affable, responsive to our desires and vision and followed through on everything she said. She asked for feedback afterwards, and I shared the one thing I wished had happened. I wish we had gotten the itinerary in paper prior to departure. She and I miscommunicated about that as I had handled all stateside flights prior to international flights so she didn't know our actual date of departure. Highly recommend.Posted on Google![]()

KIrsten Billhardt of Rosedale Travel did a fabulous job of planning and organizing our first trip to Scandinavia; she even figured out a way to work in a side trip to northern Germany within a 11-day (including flights) timeframe! It's been five months since we went, and we're still raving about the variety of experiences including outdoor excursions, city explorations, historical site and special attraction visits, different transportation modes, and delicious food (we loved the huge hotel breakfast buffets). We highly recommend working with Kirsten!Posted on Google![]()

Why Book BodyHoliday Through Rosedale Travel?
You can book BodyHoliday directly, but choosing a room is only one part of planning the stay.
There are nine accommodation categories, several seasonal program, a large daily activity schedule, different airport options, and more than 30 spa treatment rooms. Solo travelers, couples, active friends, and guests looking for a quieter week should not all book the resort in the same way.
As your BodyHoliday St Lucia wellness travel advisor, we help with:
- Determining whether BodyHoliday suits your actual wellness goals
- Comparing it with Miraval, Canyon Ranch, SHA Wellness, Amangiri, COMO Shambhala Estate, or another resort
- Choosing the right room category and location
- Confirming Virtuoso amenities before booking
- Planning around September Solos and other seasonal program
- Prioritizing treatments and high-demand activities
- Coordinating dietary requirements and room requests
- Setting up pre-arrival planning through BodyHoliday’s Webroom
- Supporting you if plans need to change during the stay
- Recording your preferences for future wellness trips
Virtuoso Benefits at BodyHoliday St Lucia
BodyHoliday is a Virtuoso partner property. When an eligible stay is booked through Rosedale Travel, the Virtuoso benefit package may include:
- An upgrade on arrival, subject to availability
- Daily breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom
- A $50 resort credit, not combinable with other offers or applicable to the room rate
- Early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability
- One complimentary 30-minute fitness, tennis, or golf session
- One complimentary 30-minute Wellness Clinic consultation
- One complimentary 50-minute treatment during the stay, scheduled on the arrival or departure day
Breakfast is already included under BodyHoliday’s all-inclusive model, so it is not the most meaningful part of the package. The stronger benefits are the additional treatment, fitness session, consultation, resort credit, and potential upgrade.
The complimentary 50-minute treatment is also separate from the treatment included on each full day of your stay. This can be particularly useful because the resort’s regular daily treatment does not apply on arrival and departure days.
These benefits are tied to eligible bookings made through a Virtuoso-affiliated agency. They are not the same package a guest receives by booking through a standard travel website or calling the resort directly.
Is BodyHoliday St Lucia Right for You?
BodyHoliday works best for travelers who want to feel better without turning their vacation into a restrictive program.
You can take a fitness class in the morning, sail in the afternoon, have a treatment, order a full dinner, and finish the evening at the Piano Bar. The wellness experience is available throughout the day, but you do not have to follow a prescribed schedule, avoid alcohol, or eat from a medically designed menu.
BodyHoliday Is a Strong Fit For:
An Active Wellness Vacation
BodyHoliday is particularly good for guests who want movement to be part of the trip. Sailing, tennis, golf, archery, yoga, Pilates, cycling, water sports, fencing, and other activities are available alongside the daily spa treatment.
This makes the resort a stronger fit for someone who wants to participate rather than spend the entire stay moving between a treatment room and a pool chair.
Couples Who Want to Be Active Together
Many wellness resorts are built around individual consultations and separate treatment schedules. BodyHoliday gives couples more opportunities to share the day.
You can sail, play tennis, try golf, join a class, or spend time on the water together. It works particularly well for couples who want wellness to support the vacation rather than become the only purpose of it.
Solo Travelers Who Want Built-In Community
BodyHoliday is one of the stronger properties in our network for solo travel.
Standard Garden View and Luxury rooms can be booked without a single-occupancy supplement, and the resort already has a social atmosphere.
September Solos takes that further. The month-long program includes hosted dinners, dedicated classes, and activities designed for guests traveling alone. The most suitable room categories can sell early, so September trips should be planned well in advance.
Small Groups of friends for a healthy-ish getaway
The resort has a naturally friendly, communal culture. Group members can participate in classes together during the day and easily mix at the Clubhouse Bar, evening piano bar, or daily hosted communal tables at dinner.
There are a few villas that can accommodate 6-10 guests.
A Wellness Week Without Deprivation
The resort’s own phrase, “Give us your body for a week and we’ll give you back your mind,” reflects its broader approach. Wellness is built around choice rather than restriction.
There is an open bar, a full dinner menu, desserts, evening entertainment, and a wide range of activities. Guests can make the week as health-focused as they wish, but the resort does not require abstinence to participate.
A Natural Mental Reset
BodyHoliday does not have a formal device-free policy. You will not be asked to surrender your phone, avoid public use, or follow a structured digital-detox program.
Guests often disconnect because the day fills naturally with treatments, classes, meals, water sports, and conversations with other guests. This is different from Miraval Mode, where digital disconnection is a visible part of the resort philosophy.
A Shorter, High-Output Stay
A three- or four-night visit can still work because a treatment is included on every full day and most activities are already part of the rate. BodyHoliday does not publish a strict minimum stay. Three-, four-, five-, and seven-night visits are all possible.
We generally recommend five to seven nights for a first visit, but BodyHoliday can deliver a meaningful shorter reset more easily than resorts where several days are needed for consultations, diagnostics, or a staged program.
Repeat Travel With Familiar Programming
BodyHoliday has a loyal repeat audience. Guests often return because of familiar staff, specific instructors, the Body Guards who lead activities, or a seasonal program they particularly enjoy.
Theme months such as Jive June, September Solos, and October Yoga give repeat guests a reason to return at a particular time rather than simply booking the same general experience again.
Who Should Consider Another Wellness Resort?
BodyHoliday is not the right choice for every wellness trip.
The resort’s strength is breadth, flexibility, and social energy. Those same qualities can be disadvantages for someone who wants clinical oversight, complete isolation, or a highly controlled program.
If You Want Clinical Diagnostics
BodyHoliday has a Wellness Clinic and a Better-Aging Clinic, but it is not a physician-led medical wellness resort. It does not provide the level of biomarker testing, medical assessment, or clinical health monitoring available at properties built specifically around diagnostics.
Canyon Ranch Tucson’s LONGEVITY8™ program or SHA Wellness in Mexico or Spain will usually be stronger options when measurable health data is the priority.
If You Want Complete Silence and Seclusion
The resort has 155 rooms, a full daily activity calendar, hosted programming, evening entertainment, and an active Clubhouse.
You can create a quieter personal schedule, but you cannot turn the entire property into a silent retreat. Amangiri or COMO Shambhala Estate may fit better if privacy, isolation, and stillness are the main reasons for traveling.
If You Want a Prescriptive, Alcohol-Free Program
Alcohol is not simply available at BodyHoliday. It is fully included in the resort package.
Guests looking for a program where food, drinks, treatments, and daily routines are controlled for them may find BodyHoliday too flexible. SHA Wellness provides a more prescriptive clinical structure and discourages alcohol as part of its approach.
If You Need a Formal Digital Detox
There is no resort-wide no-phone policy at BodyHoliday. Guests are free to use devices throughout the property.
Someone who specifically wants outside rules to support digital disconnection may be better served by Miraval, where Miraval Mode creates a more structured approach to device use.
Choose Another Resort for Young Children
BodyHoliday operates as a 16+ adult-focused resort for most of the year. Children aged 12 and older are permitted only during designated Christmas, Easter, and peak summer periods.
Families traveling with younger children will need a different property.
Choose a Specialist for Plant-Medicine Retreats
Rosedale Travel does not book or recommend psychedelic-assisted or plant-medicine retreats, including ayahuasca, psilocybin, or ibogaine programs.
The legal requirements, medical screening, and safety considerations involved sit outside our advisory scope. Clients seeking that category should work with an appropriately qualified specialist.
Which Wellness Goals Does BodyHoliday Support Best?
Most travelers are not simply looking for a resort. They are trying to solve a particular problem or create a certain feeling by the end of the trip.
| Wellness goal | Fit at BodyHoliday |
| Recovering from burnout through movement and rest | Strong fit |
| Staying active without giving up a vacation | Strong fit |
| Reconnecting as a couple through shared activities | Strong fit |
| Traveling solo with built-in social structure | Strong fit |
| Taking a mental break without following a rigid program | Strong fit |
| Following a weight-focused or calorie-tracked program | Moderate fit |
| Measuring longevity or biomarker data | Limited fit |
| Receiving physician-led clinical monitoring | Limited fit |
BodyHoliday is one of the stronger options for burnout recovery, active couples, solo travel, and guests who want a flexible mental reset.
It is less suitable when the goal depends on measurable medical data, clinical supervision, or a tightly controlled health protocol.
What BodyHoliday St Lucia Is Actually Like
BodyHoliday sits on Cariblue Beach at the northwestern tip of Saint Lucia. The property covers roughly 32 acres of hillside gardens leading down toward the water.
The resort has:
- 155 rooms and suites
- Nine accommodation categories
- More than 30 spa treatment rooms
- Three swimming pools
- Two lit tennis courts
- A golf academy
- A water sports centre
- Six restaurants
- A Wellness Clinic
- A Better-Aging Clinic
- A full schedule of fitness, sports, and recreational activities
BodyHoliday is often described as a wellness resort, but it operates differently from a destination spa or medical wellness clinic.
The daily treatment and activity program are included in the rate, but the guest remains in control. You can fill the day with structured activities or participate in almost nothing beyond the daily treatment.
That makes BodyHoliday closer to an all-inclusive Caribbean resort built around wellness than a retreat built around clinical transformation.
Already decided on BodyHoliday?
A 30-minute call is enough for us to check live availability, confirm your Virtuoso credit stack, and lock in your treatment and consultation before those slots fill.
How the Daily Wellness Program Works
Every full day of the stay includes one 50-minute treatment at the wellness centre. The regular included treatment does not apply on arrival or departure days, although an eligible Virtuoso booking may include an additional treatment that can be used on one of those days.
Treatment options may include:
- Massage and bodywork
- Elemis facials
- Hydrotherapy
- Ayurvedic treatments
- Bhutanese-influenced treatments
- Other spa and wellness therapies
The resort also runs a substantial daily activity calendar. Depending on the program and season, activities can include:
- Yoga
- Pilates
- Spin classes
- Tennis
- Golf
- Archery
- Sailing
- Water skiing
- Windsurfing
- Kayaking
- Introductory scuba sessions
- Fencing
- Dance and movement classes
Nothing beyond the daily treatment is compulsory. A guest can move between classes and activities all day, or use the spa, beach, and restaurants without joining the fitness program.
Many activities can be arranged once you are at the resort, but treatments and popular sessions should still be planned carefully. During busy periods and theme months, we help clients identify what should be prioritized before arrival.
What Changes After the First Few Days
Many first-time guests arrive expecting to check email between activities. By the second or third day, the need to stay connected often begins to fade.
A treatment is already on the schedule. There may be a class, a sailing session, lunch, time at the beach, and dinner with other guests. The day becomes full without feeling heavily controlled.
Returning guests usually plan more selectively. They know which sailing times, tennis sessions, classes, or treatments matter most to them and often reserve those before filling in the rest of the week.
Dining at BodyHoliday
BodyHoliday has six restaurants covering tasting menus, casual dining, plant-based food, and international options.
TAO
TAO serves East-West fusion tasting menus and provides one of the resort’s more formal evening experiences.
Cariblue Windows
Cariblue Windows offers a tasting-menu format with wine pairings.
Cariblue
Cariblue is the main restaurant for buffet breakfast, lunch, and an international dinner menu.
Wellness Café
The Wellness Café provides lighter and more casual options for guests who want to stay toward the healthier end of the resort’s dining choices.
Pavilion Grill
The Pavilion Grill offers another casual dining option during the stay.
I-TAL
I-TAL focuses on organic, plant-based food connected to the resort’s garden in the Coubaril Valley.
Afternoon Tea is also served daily in the Clubhouse from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The important distinction is that BodyHoliday’s dining is not prescriptive. You can choose lighter plant-based food throughout the week, but you can also order a tasting menu, dessert, or wine.
This is different from SHA Wellness, where food is part of a defined medical program. BodyHoliday offers healthy choices without making every guest follow the same interpretation of healthy eating.
Already decided on BodyHoliday?
A 30-minute call is enough for us to understand your goals for a visit to BodyHoliday and be prepared to start working with the resort for your stay.
Alcohol at BodyHoliday
Wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits are included in the standard room rate. The Clubhouse operates as the main bar, while the Piano Bar provides a dedicated evening setting and remains open until the last guest leaves.
There is no narrow serving window and no separate charge for standard alcoholic drinks.
This places BodyHoliday at the more flexible end of the wellness-resort spectrum:
- SHA Wellness discourages alcohol as part of its clinical model.
- Canyon Ranch Tucson limits alcohol to specified hours at one cantina.
- Miraval sells alcohol separately and treats it as an optional addition.
- BodyHoliday includes alcohol as part of the standard experience.
A guest who does not drink can still enjoy the resort. Non-alcoholic options are available, and there is no pressure to use the open bar.
However, travelers who specifically want an alcohol-free environment may be more comfortable at another property.
Solo Travel, Couples, and Family Policies
Solo Travel
BodyHoliday has planned for solo guests rather than simply allowing them to book a standard double room alone.
Standard Garden View and Luxury rooms can be available without a single-occupancy supplement. September Solos also creates a dedicated structure through hosted meals, classes, and group activities.
This works well for someone who wants to travel alone without spending the entire week in isolation.
Couples
BodyHoliday is particularly strong for active couples. The experience gives both travelers something to do together beyond meals and side-by-side spa treatments.
Sailing, tennis, golf, water sports, and fitness classes can become shared parts of the trip. Couples can also split up for individual interests without having to follow one programprogramme for the entire week.
Families
BodyHoliday is adult-focused for most of the year and generally operates with a minimum age of 16.
Children aged 12 and older are accepted only during designated Christmas, Easter, and peak summer periods. Families should confirm the applicable policy for their specific dates before making travel arrangements.
Friends and Small Groups
Friends can build a social, activity-led itinerary without needing every person to follow the same schedule.
The resort’s multi-bedroom accommodation may also work for small groups that prefer a shared villa rather than several separate room bookings.
How Many Nights Should You Stay?
BodyHoliday does not publish a strict minimum stay. Three-, four-, five-, and seven-night visits are all possible.
We generally recommend five to seven nights for a first visit. This gives you enough time to use the daily treatment, try several activities, settle into the resort, and still leave part of the week unplanned.
-
Three to Four Nights
A shorter stay can work for a couple or solo traveler looking for an active reset. You will still receive a treatment on each full day and have access to the complete activity and dining program. The trade-off is that you will need to be more selective. You will not have time to experience every part of the resort.
-
Five Nights
Five nights provide a better balance between activity and rest. There is enough time to try the spa, water sports, classes, restaurants, and beach without making every day feel packed.
-
Seven Nights
A full week is the strongest option for first-time guests who want to make meaningful use of the all-inclusive program. Seven nights are also well suited to September Solos, where hosted dinners and group activities create more value over a longer stay.

BodyHoliday Room Recommendations
BodyHoliday has nine room categories, ranging from Standard Garden View rooms to the Penthouse Suite and multi-bedroom villas.
The right room depends on how you plan to use the resort, how much privacy you want, and whether you prefer to be close to evening activity or farther away from it.
For Solo Travelers
A Standard Garden View, Single, or Luxury room can provide good value. These categories are particularly relevant for September Solos and may be available without a single-occupancy supplement.
For Couples Prioritizing Value
A Luxury Room or Luxury Ocean View provides more space and may include a sea-facing balcony without moving into the highest suite pricing.
For Couples Wanting More Privacy
An Oceanfront or Grand Luxury Oceanfront room places you closer to the water. These rooms also offer more contemporary marble bathrooms and can provide a quieter position farther from the main Clubhouse and Piano Bar activity.
For a Milestone Trip
The Penthouse Suite sits on the fifth floor of the Oceanfront building. It includes a private Hammam, steam room, wet bar, and a wide-screen entertainment setup.
This can work for a honeymoon, anniversary, or another trip where the room itself needs to feel like an important part of the stay.
For Small Groups
The two- and four-bedroom villas, including the Oasis Villas, provide shared kitchens and terraces. They allow a group to stay together rather than dividing everyone among separate room reservations.
Choosing the Right Part of the Resort
Rooms closer to the Clubhouse and Piano Bar suit guests who want easy access to evening activity.
Guests who are sensitive to noise or want an earlier night should consider rooms positioned farther along the beachfront. The category name alone does not always communicate how quiet or social the location will feel, so we address positioning before the room is booked.
Airport and Transfer Planning
George F.L. Charles Airport is the closest airport, with a transfer time of approximately 35 minutes.
Hewanorra International Airport is the larger international gateway but is farther from the resort. The drive generally takes approximately 80 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic.
The most convenient airport will depend on available flight routes, connection times, and how much ground transfer time you are comfortable adding to the trip.
When to Visit BodyHoliday St Lucia
Saint Lucia follows a tropical weather pattern rather than four sharply defined seasons. The time of year affects pricing, rainfall, availability, and the type of programming offered at BodyHoliday.
December Through April
This is the dry season and the highest-demand period. Guests generally choose these months for more reliable weather and lower rainfall.
Rates are usually highest during this period, and desirable room categories should be booked earlier.
May Through August
These months are warmer and more humid, with occasional afternoon showers.
BodyHoliday also runs seasonal programming during this period, including Jive June and Well Fit Families. Rates can be lower than in the winter high season.
June Through November
This period overlaps with the Atlantic hurricane season. Storms are possible, although that does not mean any particular week will be affected.
Travel insurance and flexible planning become more important for guests traveling during these months.
September Solos
September sits within hurricane season but remains an important month for solo travelers because of the dedicated September Solos programme.
For clients who specifically want the hosted dinners, group classes, and social structure, the programme itself may justify traveling during this period. Those who prioritize the most reliable weather over seasonal programming will generally be better served between January and April.
October Yoga
October Yoga is designed around a stronger yoga focus and a fuller practice schedule.
It can be a good time for guests who want BodyHoliday’s flexible all-inclusive experience but would like yoga to play a larger role in the week.
BodyHoliday St Lucia Pricing
BodyHoliday generally sits within Rosedale Travel’s Premium tier, at approximately $6,000 to $15,000 per person for a week.
Pricing depends on the room category, season, length of stay, occupancy, and availability.
The standard all-inclusive rate generally covers:
- Accommodation
- Meals
- An open bar
- One 50-minute treatment on each full day
- Fitness classes
- Sports and recreational activities
- Access to golf, tennis, archery, sailing, and water sports
- Evening programming and entertainment
Eligible Virtuoso bookings may add the resort credit, arrival or departure-day treatment, fitness session, Wellness Clinic consultation, potential upgrade, and flexible check-in or check-out benefits described earlier.
Because so much is included in the base rate, BodyHoliday can offer better overall value than a resort where spa treatments, classes, sports, drinks, and meals are charged separately. The comparison should still be made against how much of the program you realistically plan to use.

BodyHoliday Compared With Other Wellness Resorts
BodyHoliday is often considered alongside Miraval, Canyon Ranch, SHA Wellness, and more traditional luxury spa resorts.
None of these properties solves exactly the same problem.
| Property | Core approach | Best suited to | Main trade-off |
| BodyHoliday St Lucia | All-inclusive wellness with daily treatment, activities, and open bar | Active couples, solo travelers, and guests wanting flexibility with social energy | Limited clinical depth and no formal device-free culture |
| Canyon Ranch Tucson | Integrative wellness with diagnostics and a self-directed schedule | Guests who want health data and freedom to build their own program | No beach setting and alcohol is limited |
| Miraval Austin | Mindfulness and digital disconnection through Miraval Mode | Guests who want a more intentional break from constant connectivity | Alcohol is separate and there is no beach |
| SHA Wellness Mexico or Spain | Prescriptive medical wellness with structured nutrition | Guests wanting a clinically guided health program | Alcohol is discouraged and the schedule is less flexible |
| Ojai Valley Inn | Traditional resort stay with spa and fitness access | Guests wanting a shorter, lighter wellness break closer to home | Fewer wellness inclusions than BodyHoliday |
| Amangiri | Privacy, scenery, and seclusion | Guests prioritizing silence and an isolated setting | Less social energy and a different approach to structured activity |
| COMO Shambhala Estate | Immersive wellbeing in a secluded environment | Guests wanting privacy and a retreat-like atmosphere | A longer and more isolated experience than BodyHoliday |
BodyHoliday Versus Canyon Ranch
Choose BodyHoliday when you want a beach, all-inclusive dining, alcohol, daily spa treatment, and a broad activity schedule.
Choose Canyon Ranch when diagnostics, biomarker testing, clinical consultations, or measurable health information matter more than the setting.
BodyHoliday Versus Miraval
Choose BodyHoliday when you want a more social, activity-led vacation with alcohol and a Caribbean beach.
Choose Miraval when digital disconnection and mindfulness are the central goals of the trip.
BodyHoliday Versus SHA Wellness
Choose BodyHoliday when you want choice, flexibility, full dining, and an open bar.
Choose SHA Wellness when you want a clinically directed program where food, treatments, and health objectives are coordinated around a defined protocol.
BodyHoliday Versus a Traditional Resort Spa
Choose BodyHoliday when you expect wellness to shape most of the week. The daily treatment and activities are already integrated into the package.
Choose a traditional luxury resort when you primarily want a vacation and may book one or two spa treatments during the stay.

Our BodyHoliday Planning Process
01
Consultation
We begin with a 30-minute conversation about your goals, preferred pace, travel companions, available dates, and budget.
We also discuss whether the resort’s active social atmosphere, full activity list, and open-bar model match the type of wellness experience you have in mind.
02
Resort-Fit Assessment
We compare BodyHoliday with the other properties that could meet your goal.
If Canyon Ranch, Miraval, SHA Wellness, Amangiri, COMO Shambhala Estate, or another resort is more appropriate, we explain why.
03
Room Recommendation
We match your priorities to a specific room category and part of the resort.
This includes privacy, view, noise sensitivity, group size, proximity to evening activity, and the amount of time you expect to spend in the room.
04
Treatment and Activity Planning
We identify the treatments and activities that should be prioritized, especially during September Solos or another theme month.
We also help you understand what can remain flexible until arrival.
05
Booking and Benefits
We handle the reservation and confirm the Virtuoso benefits attached to the booking.
Where applicable, this includes the resort credit, additional treatment, fitness session, Wellness Clinic consultation, potential upgrade, and flexible check-in or check-out.
06
Pre-arrival Coordination
We help with BodyHoliday’s Webroom planning, dietary needs, room requests, treatment preferences, and other practical details.
The goal is to resolve important decisions before check-in rather than spending the first day trying to reorganize the stay.
07
Support During and After the Trip
We remain reachable if something needs to change while you are traveling.
After the stay, we record useful preferences so future wellness trips can be planned around what actually worked for you.
Frequently Asked Questions About BodyHoliday St Lucia

One 50-minute treatment is included on every full day of the stay.
Arrival and departure days are normally excluded. An eligible Virtuoso booking may include one additional 50-minute treatment that can be scheduled on one of those days.
How many nights should I book?
We recommend five to seven nights for most first-time guests.
Three or four nights can still work for a shorter reset, particularly for couples who want a few active days with spa time rather than the complete program.
Is BodyHoliday good for solo travelers?
Yes. It is one of the stronger solo-travel options in our wellness network.
Certain room categories can be available without a single supplement, and September Solos provides hosted dinners, dedicated classes, and a more organized social structure.
Is BodyHoliday suitable for couples?
Yes, particularly for active couples.
It is a good fit when both travelers want to sail, play tennis, use the water sports centre, attend classes, or share other activities rather than follow separate individual programmes all week.
Can I bring children?
BodyHoliday generally operates as a 16+ resort.
Children aged 12 and older may be accepted during designated Christmas, Easter, and peak summer periods. The exact policy should be confirmed for your dates.
Which airport should I use?
George F.L. Charles Airport is approximately 35 minutes from the resort.
Hewanorra International Airport is the larger international gateway but is usually approximately 80 to 90 minutes away by road.
Is BodyHoliday a medical wellness resort?
No. It offers wellness consultations and a Better-Aging Clinic, but it does not provide the same level of medical diagnostics or physician-led programming as Canyon Ranch or SHA Wellness.
Is BodyHoliday different from Miraval?
Yes. Miraval places more emphasis on mindfulness and structured digital disconnection.
BodyHoliday is a beach-based, all-inclusive resort with a daily treatment, a large activity program, full dining, and alcohol included.
Do I have to exercise every day?
No. All classes, sports, and water activities are optional.
You can use the daily treatment, beach, pools, spa, and restaurants without following a fitness schedule.
What if I am not very fit?
A high level of fitness is not required.
Activities are offered at different levels, and you can begin with gentler classes or avoid the activity program entirely.
What if I do not drink alcohol?
You can still enjoy BodyHoliday. Alcohol is included but never mandatory.
The bars offer non-alcoholic choices, and the Wellness Café and other restaurants provide options for guests who do not want to use the open bar.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
The six restaurants and plant-based menu at I-TAL provide more flexibility than a property operating from one fixed menu.
We communicate dietary requirements before arrival so the resort has the information before your first meal.
What happens if it rains?
Rain can affect water sports and outdoor classes, but the entire stay does not depend on clear weather.
The spa, indoor fitness facilities, restaurants, and other parts of the resort continue operating. During wetter months, we recommend keeping the schedule flexible rather than planning every day around outdoor activities.
Can I visit for only four nights?
Yes. Four nights still provide treatments on the full days of the stay, time for several activities, and access to the complete all-inclusive program.
It is shorter than our preferred five- to seven-night recommendation, but it can work well for a focused couples’ or solo reset.
Is BodyHoliday quiet?
You can create a relatively quiet personal schedule, but the property itself is active and social.
There is a full activity program, a meaningful number of guests, and evening entertainment. Someone wanting complete silence and isolation may prefer Amangiri or COMO Shambhala Estate.
Does Rosedale Travel arrange plant-medicine retreats?
No. We do not book psychedelic-assisted or plant-medicine program anywhere in our wellness travel network.

Plan BodyHoliday With a Wellness Travel Advisor
BodyHoliday can be an excellent choice for an active couple, a solo traveler looking for community, or anyone who wants wellness to support a Caribbean vacation without controlling it.
It is not the right resort for every goal. Travelers seeking clinical diagnostics, complete seclusion, an alcohol-free protocol, or a formal digital detox will usually be better served elsewhere.
A consultation with a luxury wellness travel advisor gives you an opportunity to compare the options before spending approximately $6,000 to $15,000 per person on the week.
Rosedale Travel will help you:
- Confirm whether BodyHoliday is the right fit
- Plan treatments and activities
- Select the correct room category
- Apply eligible Virtuoso benefits
- Review current availability and pricing
- Coordinate pre-arrival requests
- Prepare for September Solos or another seasonal program
