BVI Charter Specialist
A private crewed yacht charter in the British Virgin Islands works exceptionally well for travelers who value privacy, flexibility, and personal service more than the structure of a traditional resort vacation.
However, choosing the BVI is only the first decision.
The yacht, cabin configuration, crew personality, onboard amenities, activity options, and pace of the itinerary all affect the experience. Two similarly priced sailing catamarans can produce completely different weeks, even when they visit many of the same islands.
As your BVI Yacht Charter Specialist, Rosedale Travel helps you determine whether the destination is right for your group, compare suitable yachts, understand realistic costs, and build an itinerary that reflects how you actually want to spend your time.
The objective is not to put you on whichever yacht happens to be available. It is to prevent an expensive mismatch between the vacation you pictured and the charter you ultimately receive.
Schedule a 30-minute consultation to start to compare BVI yacht options for your group, dates, and budget.

I recently had the experience of my daughter’s high school graduation trip to Croatia planned by Rachel Baumgartner. It was amazing!! We had another family along with us and Rachel took so much time learning what was important to us, researching extensively the best fit for us regarding hotels, transfers, restaurants, excursions and more! The entire trip was seamless!! And during the trip she checked in on us and was quick to respond with any questions we had. I highly recommend Rachel and Rosedale Travel!!!Posted on Google![]()

Laura Spagnolo recently (fall 2025) planned an absolutely unforgettable group trip to Argentina. I travel frequently and this is the first trip I did not have to do or think about a single piece of the itinerary. I took my 12 yr old son, along with a few other families, on a planned group trip to Buenos Aires and iguazu falls. Starting with the preparation for the visit and Everything from city excursions, to soccer matches and stadium tours, to art centers, dinners out, fantastic hotels, experiencing the falls, and the ease with transfers and domestic flights ...it could NOT have been better. I will not plan trips without Rosedale travel from now on!! Thank you!Posted on Google![]()

Rosedale travel was able to hook me up with a last minute excellent trip to Iceland. Kirsten worked with me to make sure everything we wanted to do got done, and even suggested some things I’d never heard of which I'm glad we did! I’ll be using Rosedale travel again in the near future!Posted on Google![]()

Five stars aren't enough for Rachel! She delivered the most amazing and stress-free adventure for our son's 30th birthday trip to Moab! She helped with flights and booked a fantastic place to stay, but the lineup of incredible adventures she put together was the highlight. Our adventure loving son had a blast! Before we left, a physical folder with all our documents was delivered, and every detail was also available on a convenient app. Rachel was available for all our questions during planning and checked in with us during and after our trip! I will be using her services again and recommending her to everyone I know.Posted on Google![]()

Not only is Rachel Baumgartner the best travel advisor I've ever had the pleasure of working with, but she is also one of the best individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From start to finish, there is not a single thing she missed. She went above and beyond on everything possible and exceeded my expectations. She helped me plan my bachelorette, my fiance's bachelor party, and our honeymoon. I cannot recommend Rachel enough to anyone looking to plan travel. I am forever grateful to her for helping me to plan the trip of my dreams!Posted on Google![]()

Kirsten at Rosedale planned our family trip to Greece. It was our first time using a travel agent but definitely won't be our last! Kirsten made the trip to easy and stress free! She listened to all our "wants" and built the perfect vacation for our family of 5. The excursions she booked were amazing - both were great companies to explore Greece with and we learned so much from our guides. The hotels and resorts she booked for us were beautiful properites and the extra perks (like welcome baskets and food vouchers) that we got from booking with Kirsten were a wonderful bonus! Don't hesitate to use Kirsten to design your next vacation - you will be so glad you did!Posted on Google![]()

Kirstin was amazing! My sister and I had 17 tabs open trying to figure out connecting flights and/or trains in Europe to no avail! I reached out to her for the first time hoping that she could somehow solve this mystery and she did just that! She made it all work seamlessly. Going forward, I will never NOT travel without first consulting her. She had tips, ideas, suggestions, and solutions! She was easy to communicate with, affable, responsive to our desires and vision and followed through on everything she said. She asked for feedback afterwards, and I shared the one thing I wished had happened. I wish we had gotten the itinerary in paper prior to departure. She and I miscommunicated about that as I had handled all stateside flights prior to international flights so she didn't know our actual date of departure. Highly recommend.Posted on Google![]()

KIrsten Billhardt of Rosedale Travel did a fabulous job of planning and organizing our first trip to Scandinavia; she even figured out a way to work in a side trip to northern Germany within a 11-day (including flights) timeframe! It's been five months since we went, and we're still raving about the variety of experiences including outdoor excursions, city explorations, historical site and special attraction visits, different transportation modes, and delicious food (we loved the huge hotel breakfast buffets). We highly recommend working with Kirsten!Posted on Google![]()

Why Work With Rosedale Travel for a BVI Yacht Charter?
Anyone can open a yacht listing website and compare photographs, cabin counts, and amenity lists. Those details matter, but they rarely tell you how the week will actually feel.
The crew’s service style, the chef’s flexibility, the amount of usable communal space, the privacy between cabins, and the yacht’s suitability for your preferred activities often matter more than the features that appear first on a listing.
Two yachts within the same pricing range may offer very different experiences. One may be an excellent fit for an active family that wants to spend most of the day in the water. Another may work better for couples who want quiet anchorages, long dinners, and more private space.
Rosedale Travel helps you compare the complete experience rather than comparing boats as though they were interchangeable products.
What Our Yacht Charter Planning Includes
Working with Rosedale Travel gives you:
- Independent yacht matching based on your group, priorities, and budget
- Access to a broader network of yachts rather than one company’s managed fleet
- Guidance based on broker knowledge, crew information, and previous client feedback
- Cabin and layout recommendations for couples, families, and multi-generational groups
- A realistic comparison of sailing catamarans and motor yachts
- Itinerary planning based on your group’s preferred pace
- Clear explanations of charter pricing, inclusions, fees, and possible APA requirements
- Coordination of dietary preferences, celebrations, activities, and special requests
- One primary point of contact through planning, booking, departure, and the charter itself
We also help with decisions that have little to do with the yacht’s photographs, such as whether young children should be placed in cabins near their parents, whether a group needs equal-sized guest cabins, and whether a yacht’s water-toy selection matches what guests will actually use.
These decisions can have a greater effect on the trip than choosing the newest-looking vessel.
Star Ocean Yachts: What the Relationship Means for You
Rosedale Travel uses Star Ocean Yachts as a preferred charter resource for BVI requests.
These relationships provide access to industry knowledge and a wider selection of yacht owners, brokers, and management companies. That allows recommendations to be based on your group rather than being limited to whichever yacht one operator needs to fill.
Depending on the yacht, supplier, and booking arrangement, Virtuoso affiliation may also provide preferred access, amenities, or additional coordination benefits. We confirm which benefits apply to your specific charter before asking you to make a decision.
The more important advantage is the information available behind the listing.
A yacht may photograph exceptionally well but have a layout that feels confined for eight adults. Another may appear less impressive online but have a crew whose service style, chef, and activity programme make it a much better match.
Our role is to identify those differences before you sign a charter agreement.
Who a BVI Yacht Charter Is Best For
A BVI charter tends to work best for travelers who want the week arranged around their group rather than around a hotel, cruise, or tour schedule.
It is particularly well suited to:
01
Families celebrating birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or other milestones
02
Multi-generational groups that need different activities and rest periods
03
Couples who value privacy and personal service
04
Friends who want to travel together without changing hotels
05
Travelers who enjoy swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, or diving
06
Guests who want meals adjusted to their preferences
07
Groups that prefer flexible days instead of fixed sightseeing times
08
First-time charter guests who want relatively short sailing legs
09
Travelers who enjoy being on the water, not merely looking at it from a resort
Groups of six to ten guests often make particularly good use of a crewed yacht, although couples can also charter larger yachts when the privacy, space, and service justify the budget.
The BVI is especially suitable when your idea of a good day involves choosing between another anchorage, a beach stop, an afternoon in the water, or remaining onboard for a long lunch.
Why the BVI Often Works for First-Time Charter Guests
Many of the BVI’s popular islands and anchorages are positioned close enough together to support relatively short sailing days. This allows your group to spend more time swimming, dining, exploring ashore, or relaxing onboard rather than committing most of each day to a long passage.
The Sir Francis Drake Channel also provides access to numerous islands and protected anchorages within a comparatively compact cruising area.
That does not mean every day will be perfectly calm or that weather will never change the route. It means the captain usually has several reasonable alternatives when conditions or guest preferences require an adjustment.

Who Should Consider Another Vacation or Destination
A yacht charter is not automatically the right answer simply because the budget allows it.
You should consider a resort, cruise, or another destination when your group wants:
- Nightlife and entertainment every evening
- A fixed sightseeing schedule that must be followed exactly
- Numerous museums, historic centres, or major cultural attractions
- The lowest possible cost for a week in the Caribbean
- Large resort facilities with extensive children’s programmes
- Complete predictability about every stop
- A highly social vacation with many other guests
- Guaranteed access to a specific restaurant or activity regardless of weather
A resort may be a better choice when the group wants everyone to pursue separate activities throughout the day and meet only for dinner.
A river cruise may work better when the priority is organised sightseeing and a fixed schedule. Greece or Croatia may be more suitable when the group wants longer passages, historic ports, and a different town or cultural site each evening.
The BVI works best for travelers who want island hopping and life on the water. It is less suitable for travelers who see the yacht only as transportation between a long list of land-based attractions.
What a Crewed BVI Yacht Charter Is Actually Like
There is no mandatory daily schedule unless your group asks for one.
A typical day may begin with breakfast onboard in a quiet anchorage, followed by swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, or time ashore. The yacht may then move to a second anchorage for lunch, an afternoon activity, or the evening.
Dinner can be prepared by the private chef or planned at a waterfront restaurant recommended by the captain. The next day’s route is adjusted according to the weather, sea conditions, and which parts of the experience your group enjoyed most.
This flexibility is one of the main advantages of a charter, but it is also one of the most frequently misunderstood parts.
The captain’s first responsibility is the safety and comfort of the guests and yacht. Weather, sea state, anchorage conditions, customs requirements, or other operational considerations can change the proposed route.
Guests who expect every stop to occur at a predetermined time may find this frustrating. Guests who understand that the itinerary is a flexible plan usually enjoy the experience far more.
Choosing the Right Yacht for a BVI Charter
Matching the yacht to the group matters more than simply finding a vessel with enough cabins.
We look at how the group will use the yacht, how much privacy each guest needs, which activities matter, whether cabin equality is important, and how much time the group expects to spend underway.
Sailing Catamaran vs. Motor Yacht
A sailing catamaran is the most common choice for many BVI charters.
Catamarans generally offer generous deck space, stable living areas, and convenient access to the water. Because many popular BVI stops are relatively close together, guests can enjoy the space and sailing experience without sacrificing most of the day to travel.
A motor yacht may be the better choice when the group:
- Wants to move between destinations more quickly
- Plans to cover a broader cruising area
- Is considering an extension into the US Virgin Islands
- Prioritises larger interior spaces or specific onboard amenities
- Prefers the experience of a motor yacht over sailing
- Has a budget that comfortably supports higher fuel and operating costs
A motor yacht is not automatically more luxurious, and a catamaran is not automatically the budget option. Quality, age, size, crew, amenities, and seasonal demand all influence pricing.
We compare the individual vessels rather than making the decision from the yacht category alone.
Crewed Charter vs. Bareboat
Rosedale Travel focuses exclusively on fully crewed yacht charters.
A fully crewed charter typically includes a professional captain and chef, with additional crew depending on the yacht. The crew manages navigation, meals, service, safety, and day-to-day yacht operations.
This option works best for clients who want the freedom of a private yacht without being responsible for operating it.
A bareboat charter is designed for experienced sailors who want to skipper and manage the vessel themselves. When that is the experience a client truly wants, we recommend using a trusted bareboat specialist rather than trying to turn a self-skippered holiday into a crewed charter booking.
Cabin Layout and Group Dynamics
The total number of cabins does not tell you whether the layout will work for your group.
A family may need children in cabins close to their parents. A group of couples may want similar cabin sizes to prevent one pair from feeling they received the least desirable room. Multi-generational groups may need easier cabin access for older guests.
We also consider whether guests prefer quiet separation or shared space, whether anyone is sensitive to motion, and how much time people expect to spend privately in their cabins.
This is why a yacht that technically accommodates ten guests may not be the right yacht for your particular group of ten.
Crew Matching
The crew has a direct influence on the tone of the charter.
Some crews are highly social and activity-focused. Others provide attentive service while giving guests more privacy. Some chefs are particularly strong with children, dietary restrictions, or multi-course dinners, while others are better matched with relaxed family-style dining.
Neither style is universally better. The right choice depends on what your group expects.
A technically impressive yacht with the wrong crew style can be a weaker choice than a slightly smaller yacht whose crew understands the group immediately.
Talk with Rosedale Travel to start to determine which yacht type, cabin arrangement and crew style best match your group.
Why Choose the British Virgin Islands?
The British Virgin Islands include more than 50 islands and cays, with many established sailing routes centred around the Sir Francis Drake Channel.
For charter guests, the practical advantage is variety without requiring a long passage every day. A single week can combine quiet anchorages, reef snorkeling, beaches, hiking, waterfront restaurants, diving, water sports, and time onboard.
This makes the BVI different from a resort vacation, where guests stay in one location, and from many Mediterranean charters, where longer passages and time ashore in historic ports may play a larger role.
The BVI places more emphasis on the water itself.
BVI vs. a Traditional Caribbean Resort
At a resort, your accommodation remains in one place while you book excursions, restaurants, and transfers around it.
On a yacht, the accommodation moves with you. Meals, activities, and the next anchorage can be adjusted without packing, checking out, or coordinating ferries.
The trade-off is that a yacht has more limited indoor space than a large resort and fewer completely separate activities for guests who want to spend the day apart.
BVI vs. the Mediterranean
The BVI is generally the stronger choice when the group wants shorter sailing legs, water activities, relaxed island stops, and more time onboard.
The Mediterranean may be better when the group wants historic ports, extensive dining ashore, cultural sightseeing, and longer passages between distinct destinations.
Neither is objectively better. They serve different styles of travel.
Things to Do During a BVI Yacht Charter
The itinerary should be built around your group’s priorities rather than treated as a checklist.
Trying to include every well-known stop can create a rushed week, which defeats one of the main reasons to charter privately.
Water and Adventure Activities
Depending on the yacht, conditions, and interests of the group, a BVI charter may include:
Not every yacht includes the same water toys. Paddleboards and snorkeling equipment are common, but Seabobs, wakeboards, e-foils, fishing gear, diving equipment, and motorised toys vary considerably.
We confirm the exact inventory before recommending a yacht to an activity-focused group.
- Snorkeling near the caves at Norman Island
- Paddleboarding or kayaking directly from the yacht
- Using onboard water toys in suitable anchorages
- Kitesurfing or windsurfing in areas with appropriate conditions
- Hiking in Gorda Peak National Park on Virgin Gorda
- Hiking in Sage Mountain National Park on Tortola
- Swimming from the yacht before breakfast or between island stops
- Diving or snorkeling around the wreck of the RMS Rhone near Salt Island
Beach and Social Stops
Popular stops may include:
These stops can be enjoyable, but they are not mandatory.
A couple seeking privacy may prefer to avoid the busiest periods. A group of friends celebrating a birthday may actively want a more social afternoon. The same stop can be either a highlight or the wrong choice depending on the group.
- White Bay on Jost Van Dyke
- Deadman’s Bay on Peter Island
- Trellis Bay on Beef Island when a full moon event is scheduled
- Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke
- The Willy T floating bar and restaurant at The Bight, Norman Island
- Waterfront restaurants selected according to the route and group’s preferences
Culinary and Relaxation Options
A BVI charter can also include:
The chef receives a detailed preference sheet before departure covering dietary restrictions, dislikes, preferred meals, beverages, children’s requirements, and celebration plans.
The quality of this preparation depends partly on how specific the group is during planning. “We eat anything” is less useful than explaining what guests genuinely enjoy eating at home.
- Freshly prepared meals from the yacht’s private chef
- Anegada lobster when season, availability, and itinerary allow
- A visit to Callwood Rum Distillery at Cane Garden Bay
- An onboard cocktail hour at sunset
- Private yoga, where the yacht and itinerary support it
- A quiet afternoon onboard with no shore excursion planned
- Massage arrangements, subject to provider and anchorage availability
How a Typical BVI Charter Itinerary Works
Many BVI itineraries use a loop through the Sir Francis Drake Channel and surrounding islands, but the direction and order should not be treated as fixed.
A possible route may include southern-island stops such as Norman, Peter, Cooper, or Salt Island before moving towards Virgin Gorda, North Sound, Tortola, and Jost Van Dyke.
A captain may reverse, shorten, or change that route based on wind, sea state, weather, yacht capability, mooring availability, and what the guests want to prioritize.
A good itinerary leaves enough space for adjustments. Planning every meal, activity, and anchorage too tightly can make a private charter feel like the fixed vacation the group was trying to avoid.
Adding Anegada
Anegada is the BVI’s only coral island and requires a more separate open-water leg than the main Sir Francis Drake Channel route.
Some groups consider it essential because of its low-lying landscape, beaches, reefs, and lobster restaurants. Other groups prefer to use the time for additional stops around Virgin Gorda, North Sound, or Jost Van Dyke.
Whether it belongs in the itinerary depends on weather, yacht capability, charter length, and how comfortable the group is with a longer passage.
We do not add Anegada simply because it appears on a standard BVI itinerary.
Adding the US Virgin Islands
A BVI charter may also be extended into the US Virgin Islands, including St. John, when the yacht is authorised for the route and the schedule allows for customs and immigration procedures.
Crossing between territories adds administrative steps, possible fees, and time for clearance. It can still be worthwhile for groups that want to combine the BVI with the beaches, trails, or bays of St. John.
The decision should be made before booking the yacht because not every vessel, contract, or itinerary is equally suited to an international extension.
BVI Yacht Charter Pricing Expectations
A realistic budget discussion should happen before yachts are shortlisted.
Many crewed sailing catamarans in the BVI are offered on an all-inclusive basis, although the exact inclusions vary by yacht. Larger motor yachts and some other vessels may use a base charter fee plus an Advance Provisioning Allowance, commonly referred to as APA.
For initial planning, Rosedale Travel uses the following weekly ranges:
Entry-Level Crewed Charter: $15,000 to $25,000 Per Week
This range may include a well-maintained crewed sailing catamaran for approximately four to six guests.
It can be a practical first-charter option, particularly when the cost is shared between couples or a family group. Yacht age, season, crew, cabin layout, and exact inclusions must still be reviewed carefully.
Mid-Range Crewed Charter: $30,000 to $75,000 Per Week
This range generally provides a broader selection of yachts for approximately six to ten guests, with more variation in size, layouts, crew, and onboard amenities.
It is also the range where careful comparison becomes particularly important. A higher weekly rate does not necessarily mean the yacht is a better match for your group.
Luxury Charter: $100,000 and Above Per Week
This category can include newer, larger, or more extensively crewed vessels with more sophisticated amenity packages.
Availability can still be limited during peak travel dates. A larger budget expands the range of options, but it does not remove the need to match the yacht, crew, and itinerary carefully.
These figures are planning ranges, not guaranteed quotes. The final cost depends on travel dates, yacht selection, number of guests, itinerary, tax structure, repositioning requirements, and what the contract includes.
Understanding APA
APA is money collected in advance to pay for charter expenses that are not included in the base rate.
Depending on the yacht, it may cover fuel, food, beverages, dockage, communications, port costs, and guest-requested expenses. The captain manages the account, and the final charter statement shows how the funds were used.
Any remaining balance is normally returned, while expenses exceeding the allowance must be settled by the charterer.
APA is common on many larger yacht charters but is not used in exactly the same way across every BVI crewed catamaran. We explain the pricing structure before presenting a yacht as a serious option.
Talk with Rosedale Travel for a realistic charter cost breakdown before selecting a yacht.
What Is Usually Included?
For an all-inclusive BVI crewed charter, the quoted rate may include:
- Use of the yacht
- Professional captain, chef, and applicable crew
- Meals prepared onboard
- Standard beverages
- Standard yacht operating costs within the agreed cruising area
- Snorkeling equipment
- Paddleboards and kayaks, when carried by the yacht
- Other listed water toys
- Linens, towels, and standard onboard supplies
The yacht’s written proposal and charter agreement control what is included. We review these details with you before booking.
What May Cost Extra?
Depending on the yacht and itinerary, additional costs may include:
- Crew gratuity
- BVI cruising permits or applicable charter-related government charges
- National park permits or fees
- Mooring fees when they are not included
- Customs and immigration costs for a USVI extension
- Premium wines, spirits, or specialty provisions
- Scuba diving or equipment not carried by the yacht
- Dockage requested by the guests
- Transfers before or after the charter
- Massage, yoga, entertainment, or other outside providers
- Repositioning or delivery fees
- Expenses paid through an APA when the yacht uses that pricing model
Mooring, cruising, and park charges should not be assumed to be included simply because the yacht is described as all-inclusive. We confirm how each cost is handled in the written quote.
Our BVI Yacht Charter Planning Process
Initial Consultation
01
We begin with a 30-minute call covering:
- Travel dates
- Number and ages of guests
- Reason for the trip
- Previous charter experience
- Budget expectations
- Cabin requirements
- Dietary needs
- Preferred activities
- Desired level of privacy
- Preferred pace
- Interest in the BVI, USVI, or other destinations
The consultation is also used to determine whether a yacht charter is genuinely the right vacation for the group.
Destination and Yacht Matching
02
We evaluate whether the BVI fits your travel style before selecting vessels.
Once the destination is confirmed, we review suitable yachts through our charter relationships and prepare a focused shortlist. The proposal is based on the group’s needs rather than a generic list of every available boat.
Comparison and Refinement
03
We walk you through the meaningful differences between the yachts, including:
- Crew
- Cabin layout
- Guest capacity
- Communal space
- Water toys
- Dining style
- Yacht age and condition
- Pricing structure
- Included expenses
- Possible additional costs
- Suitability for the proposed itinerary
Your feedback is then used to refine the recommendation.
Contract and Booking
04
Once a yacht is selected, we help you understand the charter agreement, payment schedule, cancellation terms, inclusions, exclusions, APA requirements, and other relevant conditions.
The goal is for you to understand the financial commitment before funds are transferred.
Itinerary and Preference Planning
05
After booking, we coordinate the route, meals, dietary requirements, beverages, activities, transfers, celebrations, and special requests.
The proposed itinerary remains flexible so the captain can make appropriate decisions during the charter.
Support Through the Trip
06
Rosedale Travel remains your point of contact through departure and during the charter if a planning or travel issue requires support.
Rosedale Travel Planning Fees
We are currently not charging planning fees for yacht charters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the BVI a good destination for our first yacht charter?
Yes, for many groups.
The concentration of established sailing routes, relatively short distances between many popular stops, and range of water-based activities make the BVI one of the more approachable Caribbean charter destinations.
It is particularly suitable when the group wants flexibility and time on the water rather than extensive sightseeing ashore.
Should we choose a sailing catamaran or motor yacht?
A sailing catamaran usually suits groups that want stability, generous deck space, water access, and a relaxed pace between nearby islands.
A motor yacht may be better when the group wants faster travel, a broader route, a possible USVI extension, or specific amenities associated with a larger motor vessel.
We make the recommendation after reviewing your group size, activities, route, and budget.
How much does a BVI yacht charter actually cost?
Initial weekly planning ranges begin around $15,000 to $25,000 for selected crewed catamarans, move into approximately $30,000 to $75,000 for a broader mid-range selection, and can exceed $100,000 for larger or higher-end yachts.
The complete cost may also include gratuity, permits, park fees, customs costs, premium provisions, dockage, repositioning, or expenses handled through APA.
We provide a written cost breakdown before you commit.
Are meals and beverages included?
Many crewed BVI catamarans include meals and standard beverages, but inclusions differ by yacht.
Premium beverages, unusually expensive provisions, dining ashore, and special requests may be additional. The written proposal should state exactly what the rate covers.
What water toys will be on the yacht?
This depends entirely on the vessel.
Paddleboards, snorkeling equipment, and kayaks are common. Seabobs, wakeboards, inflatables, e-foils, fishing equipment, and scuba gear are not included on every yacht.
Activity-focused groups should select the yacht only after the exact water-toy inventory has been confirmed.
How far in advance should we book?
For peak-season travel between December and April, planning six to twelve months ahead provides a stronger yacht selection.
Christmas, New Year, spring break, and other high-demand periods may require earlier planning. May, June, and November can sometimes offer more availability closer to departure, although this varies by yacht.
Is a large yacht unnecessary for two people?
Not necessarily.
A couple may choose a larger yacht for privacy, space, service, amenities, or a specific crew. The decision depends more on the experience they want and the budget they are comfortable with than on the minimum number of cabins required.
Can our itinerary be guaranteed?
Specific anchorages and activities cannot be guaranteed because weather, sea conditions, yacht operations, safety, and local restrictions can affect the route.
We build a realistic proposed itinerary, but the captain retains final authority over navigation and safety decisions.
Can we combine the BVI and USVI?
Possibly.
The yacht must be authorised for the route, and the itinerary must include enough time for customs and immigration clearance. Additional charges may apply.
We evaluate the USVI extension before recommending a yacht.
Why use an advisor instead of booking directly?
Because availability does not tell you whether the yacht is right for your group.
An advisor helps you compare crew style, cabin layout, amenities, pricing structure, itinerary capability, and previous feedback. That reduces the risk of choosing a yacht that looks appropriate online but does not deliver the experience the group expected.
